VORONOI CELLS - Fusion add-in (solid + mesh)
============================================
Cuts or fractures SOLID bodies and MESH bodies with a Voronoi (cellular,
organic lattice) pattern. Public domain (Unlicense). Free to use, share, modify.

INSTALL (Windows and Mac)
1. Download and unzip. You get a folder named VoronoiCells.
Windows: if the add-in does not load, right-click the downloaded .zip, choose Properties,
tick Unblock, click OK, and then unzip.
2. Copy that folder into Fusion's AddIns folder:
   Windows: %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns
   Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/API/AddIns
(Or in Fusion: Utilities > Add-Ins > green + > "Add-In from Device" and pick the folder.)
3. In Fusion press Shift+S, open the Add-Ins tab, select VoronoiCells and click Run.
The add-in is set to load every time Fusion starts; untick "Run on Startup" there to turn that off.
4. The command "Voronoi Cells" appears in the Solid tab > Create panel.

USE
1. Pick a solid body or a mesh body (in the active component).
2. Solid only: optionally pick Surface faces to place the cells on those faces;
with none picked the cells fill the whole volume.
3. Number of cells = how many Voronoi cells (orange dots preview the seed points).
4. Gap / wall width = thickness of the walls left between cells.
5. Post operation:
Cut - removes the cells, leaving a Voronoi lattice (the original is hidden,
the result is a new body).
New Bodies - solids: breaks the body into separate fracture pieces.
meshes: leaves the cell solids as separate bodies.
6. Hollow wall thickness: turns the body into a thin shell first so only the wall
is cut (Cell depth then defaults to about twice the wall).
7. Mesh only - Refine mesh to edge: splits large triangles so the cut edges come out
clean. About 3 mm for 10 mm cells; 0 = off. Smaller = cleaner but slower.
8. Press OK. Many cells or dense meshes take a while - try a small number first.

POINT DISTRIBUTORS (v1.1)
- Point distributor: Random (default, as before) or a pattern that fills the body:
Grid, Radial (rings in one plane), Cylindrical (rings x layers), Spiral,
Spherical (concentric shells), Linear (a row along X), Points (pick sketch points,
construction points or vertices as the cell centres).
- Patterns are centred on the body's bounding box. Spacing between points sets the density.
- Random jitter % adds an organic wobble. Relaxation passes (Lloyd) even the cells out.
- With a distributor the cells fill the whole volume, so Hollow wall thickness and Cell depth
do not apply; use Random with Surface faces for lattices on the surface of a hollow body.
- Many points mean many boolean operations: start with a larger spacing.

NOTES
- Meshes should be closed (watertight). The cut result can have many triangles.
- Mesh hollowing offsets vertices along their normals: fine for smooth shapes,
uneven on very sharp or thin features.
- Fillet rounds the edges of the result (solids) or of the cells (meshes) and can fail
on very small features - use a smaller radius if it reports a failure.
